BFP joins the Ride for Food

The beginning of December marked the end of our fundraising for this year’s Ride for Food Team. On October 6th, the pantry had a great time participating as riders and walkers in this year’s ride, hosted by Three Squares New England. Pantry staff, volunteers, and community supporters joined over 500 participants for our third year of joining in the ride.

A dedicated team of 5 riders collectively covered 200 miles, and with your generous support, we raised over $5,000—enough to provide an entire week’s worth of food from the Greater Boston Food Bank! Thank you to everyone who donated and fundraised, and thank you to all the sponsors, organizers and volunteers who made the event possible.
