Catherine Burke, Board Chair

Catherine Burke has lived in Brookline since 1990 with her husband, daughter, son, and various dogs. She worked as a production editor and copy editor in educational publishing before turning to volunteering. She has served as Driscoll School PTO co-chair, Runkle School PTO co-chair, Brookline Soccer Club board member, a member of the Green Dog Subcommittee of the Parks and Recreation Commission, and as a reader to summer campers at Sportsmen’s Tennis and Enrichment Center in Dorchester. Most recently she completed 7 years on the board of the Brookline Education Foundation, the last 3 as President, and remains on the BEF Advisory Board. She became involved with the Food Pantry as a volunteer for Brookline Thrives and continues to help out there as well as in the main Pantry when she is not walking Teddy, the family labradoodle, or riding her Peloton bike.

Ted Arnstein, Board Treasurer

Ted Arnstein’s career has been focused on finance and strategy, first as an investment banker and then with several companies in the technology sector.  He joined the board after volunteering at each of the Pantry’s locations and following nine years on the board of the Brookline High School Innovation Fund, six of which he served as Treasurer.  Originally from the Midwest, he has been a Brookline resident since 1998, where he and his wife raised their three adult children.

Christina Knopp

Christina has lived in Brookline for 14 years with her husband Kevin, two children Will and Ellie, and dog Luna. Christina is an engineer by training who quickly found her passion in marketing and business development in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors, most recently at Dusa Pharmaceuticals. She also served on Boston University’s College of Engineering Industry Advisory Council.
As a way to shift focus to her family, Christina became active in volunteer and leadership roles in her children’s schools and in her community. She most recently co-chaired the fundraising auction for Newton Country Day School. She has served as PTO Co-President at the Ruffin Ridley School, was on the Executive Committee of the Brookline High School PTO, volunteered as a judge at various science fairs, and (perhaps her most challenging endeavor) created and ran a local Girl Scout troop for eight years. Christina currently serves on the board of the World Ocean School which combines her passions of sailing and education.
Christina has volunteered in various capacities to do her small part in alleviating food insecurity in her community. She co-chaired “Devo Cares” at the Ruffin Ridley School, an initiative to help provide students with school supplies and warm winter clothing. Most recently she and her children helped with food delivery on Nantucket during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Christina is humbled to be able to continue this work by serving on the board of the Brookline Food Pantry.

Gaëlle From

Gaëlle From, following her career in finance in France and the UK, moved to Brookline in 2006 with her husband and two sons – both Brookline High Alumni. Gaelle has enjoyed serving her community through volunteering on the PTO and also at the Food Pantry.

Mini Kolluri

Mini Kolluri has been a resident of Brookline for the last 16 years, and recently joined the Food Pantry board. Originally a native of Mumbai, Mini moved to NYC to complete her MBA, and worked in the financial services industry.  She has been an active volunteer in several local organizations including her neighborhood association, the Brookline Community Foundation, and PTOs at Runkle Elementary and Brookline High School.  Mini lives in Brookline with her family which includes her husband, son, who is now at college, and dog.   

Nathaniel Mason

Nathaniel Mason grew up in Brookline.  His kids also grew up attending the Heath School and Brookline High School. Nathaniel became interested in helping out at the food pantry after his teenage daughter volunteered throughout the Pandemic.  Nathaniel has worked in real estate finance for over twenty years.   Nathaniel has put his focus and efforts at the Brookline Food Pantry primarily into the Development Committee.  He is also on the board of the Brookline Center.  He lives in Brookline with his wife, two children and their very friendly dog Zephyr. 

Libby Roberts

Libby has lived in Brookline for 30+ years and is senior executive vice president of Lindauer Global, an executive search and talent firm specializing in recruiting nonprofit leaders. Prior to her role with Lindauer, Libby served in the development offices at Dartmouth, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Northeastern University, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Law School and Phillips and Milton Academies. She serves or served on the Board of Directors, recently as president, of the Boston House: Hope and Healing for Children with Cancer; Rockefeller Center Board of Visitors; the Vestry of Boston’s Trinity Episcopal Church; and currently volunteers at Care Dimensions Hospice House, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Dartmouth College.

Lisa Ting

Lisa has been volunteering with the Brookline Food Pantry since 2012 as the Community Service Head at Florida Ruffin Ridley School. She coordinated the bi-annual food drives for BFP with the students, teachers and families. She has also been a Host Committee Member for the Pantry Party.

She has been on the Brookline Education Foundation Board where she served on the Executive Committee and Co-Chaired Fundraising. She has been involved with the Ridley School PTO and will continue to co-chair the BHS Teacher Appreciation Events.

She is currently a consultant for The Conversation, a non-profit/independent news outlet whose mission is to democratize knowledge for the public good. She has been an elementary teacher, business founder, nonprofit fundraiser, and event director. She has a B.A. from Tufts University and a Master of Education from Harvard University. A Brookline resident of 22 years, she is the proud mother of 2 teenage daughters and a 3-year-old Maltese dog.

Anne Turner, Board Secretary

Anne Turner is a long-time donor and started volunteering at the Pantry during COVID.  She knows Brookline well having lived here since the ‘80s and held leadership roles on Extended Day Boards and the Brookline Community Foundation. Professionally she began her career in the financial services sector but transitioned to aid educational nonprofit organizations with strategic planning and development. 

Karyn Wang

Karyn Wang has lived in Brookline for almost three decades along with her husband, two sons, one daughter, and many feline and canine companions.  A long time supporter of the Brookline Food Pantry, this year she is excited to deepen her involvement by joining the board.  Karyn served on the board of the Brookline Education Foundation for 9 years and spent a combined 14 years on the Driscoll PTO and the Brookline High School PTO Boards.   She has also volunteered with BAAFN (Brookline Asian American Family Network) and CHEX (an exchange program between Brookline High School and Xian schools).  Karyn has played String Bass with the Longwood Symphony for more than a quarter of a century and has served on the Symphony board for over 15 years.
